Ever since I can remember, my mother would sing “O Holy Night” every year in our family Christmas shows. As a result, it has always been my favorite Christmas carol. Last year, I was honored to direct and produce a music video of this hymn in collaboration with my sister musical group Uptown Violins.
My mother still thrills me with her angelic soprano voice, helping me reflect on the night of Christ’s birth. I had the joy of singing alto alongside her while my sisters and dear friend Laura Fliege accompanied us. My dad even made a cameo appearance to honor his annual reading of Luke 2, and my husband, Dr. Robert Rescot, served as executive producer of videography and audio engineering.
