Practice Motivation Course, 2022!

Ashley and Christine

One of the biggest challenges I see that parents and students face is motivation. As both a teacher, parent, and former student, I see this challenge from all angles!

This January, I’d like to kick off the New Year with this course for parents and students who want to work on motivation and have a better practice plan.

I am excited to have renowned author/teacher Christine Goodner from The Suzuki Triangle (parent-teacher-student) as our guest speaker for a couple of sessions! I took her course a year ago and absolutely loved her detailed approach and her ability to recommend different tactics for different types of students.

Required Materials for Parents:* (Also available in Audiobook for busy parents on-the-go)

About Christine Goodner:

I started the violin when I was just under 3 years old. While I begged to play I didn’t always love to practice. Fast forward many years and I became a practicing parent to my oldest daughter right about the time I started my teacher training. I learned a lot of things the hard way about how to help her practice well, and I have made it my life’s mission to learn everything I could about helping other families every since!

Talking about practice, learning, and teaching music is a passion of mine. I’m excited you’re here to join in. You’ll find resources here that help parents and teachers, just like you reduce conflict in the practice room and help students make more positive and productive progress.
